Since the early days of North Sea oil and gas production, we have been in the vanguard of the emergency response and rescue industry, amassing unrivalled experience and expertise along the way.

Our 47 operating ERRV vessels offer a 'safety blanket' to offshore installation personnel working routinely in harsh, unpredictable weather conditions. On duty in oil and gas fields across the North Sea , they provide comfort and reassurance 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. VOS Limited also operate one platform Supply Vessel.

And when things do go wrong, our highly trained teams prove their worth: over the years, they have rescued personnel from the sea in no fewer than sixteen separate incidents.

A wholly owned subsidiary of Vroon Group BV, of The Netherlands, Vroon Offshore’s ships range from purpose built modern multi-role field support vessels and conventional standby vessels, to converted tonnage from both the supply and fishing industries.

Our predominantly British crews are highly professional and motivated, maintaining a constant state of readiness and routinely refreshing and refining their skills in emergency response and rescue for all kinds of marine and offshore-related incidents.

Each vessel has an array of state-of-the-art equipment at its disposal to effect rescue, ranging from hydraulically-operated rescue baskets to fully-enclosed fast rescue craft that can be launched within 90 seconds and travel at speeds of up to 30 knots to the scene of an incident.
